Enjoy a private full-day trip from Naples combining a guided visit of Pompeii with free time in the charming coastal town of Sorrento. Travel with your own driver, explore the ruins with a licensed guide and admire the Sorrento Coast with panoramic stops

Discover two must-see destinations in one day on a private full-day trip from Naples to Pompeii and Sorrento.

Depart from your hotel or agreed meeting point in Naples with your private driver and head to Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological areas in the world. Upon arrival, meet your licensed local guide and enjoy a 2-hour guided tour inside the ruins. Walk along the ancient streets, see the remains of houses, shops and public buildings and learn about daily life before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Your guide will help you understand the history, architecture and dramatic events that buried the city for centuries. Entrance fees to Pompeii are included.

After the visit, you can choose to have some free time for lunch (not included) in the area before continuing your journey towards Sorrento. Drive along part of the beautiful Sorrento Coast, with the possibility of making short panoramic stops to take photos of the stunning views over the Gulf of Naples.

Once in Sorrento, enjoy free time to explore the historic center at your own pace. Wander through the suggestive narrow streets filled with shops, artisan workshops and cafés, soak up the lively atmosphere and admire the sea views from the terraces and gardens. If you wish, you can also stop at a local limoncello factory to learn more about this traditional liqueur and taste it (optional).

At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to Naples, dropping you off at your hotel or original meeting point.

A comfortable and flexible way to combine ancient history and seaside charm in a single, well-organized day.
